Latest Updates from Our Project:

(Almost) Full Moon Update: Two books are finished, one to go...
4 days ago – Wed, Dec 18, 2024 at 03:50:28 PM

I hope this message finds you in great shape. Apologies for not sending any updates in November—time really flies.

I want to reassure you though: even if I'm behind on the timeline, the quality will definitely be there, I promise. I prefer to take a bit more time to deliver something I'm truly proud of, rather than rushing and delivering a subpar result.

Book B is now (almost) finished, and I just need to finalize Book A—about 60% of the content still needs to be completed. After that, I’ll need to harmonize everything, as this is more like one big book in three parts rather than three separate books.

Here is a preview of the "ID cards" part of Book B.

I expect to complete everything in January, start production in February, and begin shipping in March. So, we’re looking at a spring 2025 release!

Thank you for your patience and understanding—it means a lot to me.

First Crescent Moon Update : One step forward, two steps back...
3 months ago – Sat, Oct 05, 2024 at 01:57:14 PM

A quick message on this first crescent moon (since I missed the last full moon) to let you know that the project is progressing slowly but surely. As I mentioned in the last update, Book C is almost finished... but as the French expression goes: "one step forward, two steps back."

A friend to whom I showed the progress of the project pointed out that I probably don't have the right to include images of U.S. currency in a publication. After doing some research, I came across the following information:

U.S. currency designs are not protected by copyright or trademark law, but they are still protected under specific federal laws prohibiting counterfeiting and the unauthorized reproduction of currency. Here's a breakdown of the key points:

18 U.S.C. § 471: This statute makes it illegal to counterfeit any U.S. currency, meaning to "falsely make, forge, counterfeit, or alter" any form of U.S. money intending to defraud.

18 U.S.C. § 474(b): This law further specifies the prohibitions on reproducing U.S. currency. It is illegal to create, print, or use any likeness or image of U.S. currency, even for non-fraudulent purposes, unless certain conditions are met (such as size and color limitations for educational or artistic use).

These laws are designed to protect the integrity of U.S. currency by preventing counterfeiting and making it harder for people to produce items that could be mistaken for real money.

So, to avoid any risk, I will remove certain pages... but I'll keep the ones featuring "tax stamps." In the meantime, here are some new pages...

BOOK C

BOOK A

I still can't announce a precise release date, but I'm doing my best. I'll be launching my canceled letterpress calendar project soon, though I would have preferred to finish the books beforehand.

Thanks for your patience and support.

FULL MOON UPDATE : 1 of 3...
4 months ago – Mon, Aug 19, 2024 at 02:29:46 PM

When I decided to update you on the project's progress during each full moon, I didn't anticipate finding information that would resonate so deeply.

For the full moon on August 19, 2024, I came across something intriguing: this is the moon of liberation and boldness, encouraging us to move forward with caution. It has the power to awaken our daring spirit. Full moons often bring us face-to-face with the outcomes of our recent actions—whether we reap the rewards with deep satisfaction or realize that things have stalled. This is the ideal time to reassess our strategies and maximize our chances of achieving our goals. Trust yourself, be patient, and stay flexible.

I'm pleased to share that one of the three books, BOOK C, is almost complete. However, it's challenging to say it's entirely finished until all three are done, as I need to balance the content across them. Here are some additional designs…

Thanks for your patience and support.

Type Book Full Moon Update: Working Hard but It's Taking Time...
5 months ago – Sun, Jul 21, 2024 at 03:39:16 PM

The full moon of July has arrived, and I hope it positively influences you. According to my online research, this is a period of development, progress, and rapid advancements. It's a time of intense flourishing. The main characteristic of the July full moon is that people feel a surge of energy and strive to improve their lives. Unconsciously, there is a desire, a need for forward movement.

I hope this positive energy also influences the progress of our project because I must admit that I underestimated the time it would take. I based my estimates on my first three books, but this one requires much more work. The color scans involve extensive cleaning and formatting of the pages.

Honestly, I don't think the project will be finished by the end of summer as planned. It looks more likely to be completed in the fall for the design, with printing to follow. This will also depend on the printer's schedule.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen my studio and my collection of large biscuit boxes. I have started scanning them to include in the project. It's a long process, but I can't wait to show you the results.

Here are the first scans...

In the meantime, here are some new layouts.

Thanks for your patience and support.

Full Moon Update: New Page Designs…
7 months ago – Thu, May 23, 2024 at 06:47:45 AM

I have set myself the goal of sending you an update with every full moon, to keep a consistent rhythm and not get caught up in the daily grind. While researching information about today's full moon, I found this: "With a full moon in Sagittarius, you have an optimistic approach to life, and despite potential troubles, you maintain the belief that things can only get better." I needed to read this…

The design of the books is progressing well. Here are some of the latest pages. I hope you like them—feel free to let me know your thoughts in the comments. I’ve also gathered many more documents that I’m currently scanning. I always feel like I don’t have enough, and there are so many beautiful things I want to share with you.

More updates to come with the next full moon…

Thank you for your patience and support.
